Fr Andrew Farrell – a founder member of the Credit Union has sadly passed away.
It is with great sadness that we learned of Fr Farrell’s passing.
The Board, Management and Staff would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Fr Farrell.
Fr Farrell was a founder member of the Credit Union in Navan and supported its growth and development as a service to the local community from seed funding of £36 pounds in 1963 to one of the largest Credit Unions in the country today. Fr Farrell shared a vision with the other founding members and worked tirelessly with them, the other volunteers, staff and members to create a financial co-operative with the goal of taking care of people at its heart.
He is a great loss to all of us and will be truly missed.
