At Credit Union Plus, we are committed to creating a welcoming environment for all members of our community. Starting next Tuesday, 27th May, we will be introducing Autism-Friendly Hours every Tuesday from 4pm to 5pm.
During this time, we will make small but meaningful changes to our branch environment to support members who may experience sensory sensitivities:
🔇 Minimised noise – loudspeaker announcements and ambient music will be turned off or reduced
💡 Softer lighting where possible
🧭 Visual guides to help navigate the branch
🐾 Support for Assistance Dogs
💬 Clear, direct and patient communication from our team
We understand that every person with Autism is different and may have different needs. That’s why we’ve taken guidance from The Irish Society for Autism and will continue to listen and learn from our members and their families.
